The Tree Stump Grinder is a fast and professional way of removing tree stumps from the ground after a tree has been felled. This powerful, petrol-powered stump grinder features a heavy-duty, hard-wearing wheel blade that rotates at great speed, efficiently grinding away at the tree stump.
To use the tree stump grinder to remove a stump from the ground, first of all, tackle the roots – grinding across in a sweeping action, you should angle the machine so that it grinds 1” down from the top of the roots. Then sweep back across, 1” lower than the first pass. Once the roots are cleared, the trunk should then be approached in the same way, sweeping across the trunk, grinding 1.5” down each time. The stump grinder grinds the stump into fine chips, which can be raked together easily and collected at the end, or sucked up using a vacuum/blower machine.
The stump grinder has a cutting height of 56cm and a depth limit of 33cm underground.
